On 6/10/2023, Klamath Basin Amateur Radio Association along with Dale Beaty (repeater owner), installed a GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) repeater on Hogback Mountain.

Special thanks to Dale Beaty/N6ZCM/WRTX950 for bringing this to the Klamath Basin.

The GMRS repeater is at 462.600MHz with a + offset and a tone of 127.3. All licensed GMRS users are welcome to use the repeater.

Here is a link to some radios. To use the repeater, you’ll want to be sure you have a “Repeater Capable” radio. Not all radios can link to a repeater so make sr. There are a lot of options out there. Note that we do not recommend or endorse any specific brand or vendor.
