Thanks to everyone who came out for this month’s KBARA program! We spent the evening going through all those front-panel controls that tend to leave folks scratching their heads — Noise Blanker, Noise Reduction, Notch, Width and Shift, RIT, AGC, mic gain, and the rest — and talking about when you’d actually reach for each one. The big takeaway: every knob does one thing, and once you know what it does, you can dig a weak signal out of a noisy, crowded band.
